The Experience
This experience includes a short briefing from your instructor before your flight in these two amazing machines. Gyrocopter flight will last approximately 20 min and Micro-light flight will last 15 miniutes.
Both are great fun and your safty will never be compramised.
Vital Info
Maximum weight is 80 kg and minimum age is from 12 to 14 depending on location. Under 18s must be accompanied to the venue by an adult and must have a disclaimer signed by a parent or guardian.
The Weather
These flights are a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the venue or centre for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled due to the weather it will be re-booked on an alternative date. Details will be supplied upon booking.
Session Length
Gyrocopter flight will be 20 min and Micro-light flight will last 15min.
Numbers
Your briefing may be shared, however your flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified pilot.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to come along and watch you take off and land.
Dress Code
These machines have open cockpits, so it will be necessary to dress warmly if the weather is not warm. It is a good idea to wear sunglasses as they give you an even better view of the sky.
Availability
Operational dates vary but generally each centre runs every weekend and some weekdays during the summer months. In winter on some specific weekends. Contact us for available dates.
Other information
Please be aware that this is quite a high adrenaline experience and not for the faint hearted.
