|The Experience |
Your light aircraft introductory flight commences with the briefing after which instructor will take you through the pre-flight inspection on dual-control aircraft before you take your place in the pilot's seat. Your instructor will talk you through the start up and take-off, then you take to the sky for your first real flying experience. The flight will last approximately one hour and during this time you will be able to have hands on experience in flying the plane. After the flight there will be an opportunity for you to discuss any questions you might have and who knows; flying might become your new hobby.
You must be reasonably healthy to fly, and all health related issues must be brought to the pilot's attention. You must be 18 years or older to fly and height and weight restrictions apply (190 cm and 90 kg) to this experience. Aircrafts available for experience will depend on availability and it is going to be either Cessna 172 or Sports Cruiser.
Flying is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial that you call the flying center for a weather check before setting out to ensure the conditions are suitable for your booked time. All flights canceled due to bad weather will be rescheduled.
Your flying time will be one hour.
This is experience for one person. Your briefing is likely to be shared.
